This artwork is special because it literally took two people to create, my husband took these delightful images when I was at work one weekend screening slides to detect early cancer in the laboratory, it was also my husband who framed this artwork. The good thing was that a week later I was able to find the same birds a little bigger but just as delightful so I did get to see the Cygnets riding on the backs of these beautiful parents and they reminded me of Perth as they are Perth's National bird.
