This little bird portrait is of a wild Tawny Frogmouth that we discovered high up in a old gum tree. This being the first Frogmouth we found was still something we remember vividly because it was the sound that first attracted us- then the conversation went along the lines of "is it a branch or is it a bird?" One eye opened and our cameras started to work overtime and the resulting picture was painted referencing this wonderful wildlife find. The canvas is hand crafted from Victorian Ash, sourced from Melbourne and the back has a hard cover for added protection. All artworks by myself arrive with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
