Thornbills are small Australian birds that are seen at the base of trees or in the gum bark. They have a lovely golden colour and eyes that are lined with black eyeliner, hence in this artwork I tried to get the woody effect of the bark. Thank you again to my husband who had the patience to photograph these birds so well while out bush walking for they do not sit still for long. This artwork is framed in a Natural floating frame.
