Living on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Suze began her artistic career as a professional painter in 1986, when the potential buyers of the house she was selling, refused to buy the house unless she sold them the painting on the wall. An original, but modern take on a shearing shed scene, done in acrylic pastel colours on chip board (all she could afford) and to suit the house decor at the time. She therefore sold the buyers the painting for a whopping $50!
Since then, Suze, known as 'Suze Art', has enjoyed creating her work in Noosa, Rainbow Beach and the Fraser Coast, for business houses, schools, hospitals, domestic and international buyers. Murals, seascapes, collages and Australian landscapes are her passion.
Suze is an extremely private person who has never pushed her talent or entered competitions. Her belief being, 'art is like beauty, in the eye of the beholder', which has proven true with the expanse of art sold and commissioned over the years.
Suze is also an accomplished and published author of children's books, with interest shown and options purchased by film producers.
So after over 30 years of painting, she now appreciates the marketing value of Bluethumb. This site allows her time to create with the ability to present somewhat autonomously.
