Description
A visit to the Gold Coast Botanic Gardens served as inspiration for this piece. The billabong there is beautiful and full of reflections including some of local houses. I liked the juxtaposition of nature reflecting an urban environment yet retaining its' strong presence. The image seemed to express an integrated world, the suburban homes acting as a backdrop to a more natural world. The blues and greens have been emphasised to contrast with bright warm tones, and to refresh the spirit.
