Born 1965 in Kenya, East Africa
Susannah’s late father was an amateur botanist and this is where Susannah’s love of nature, botany and the natural environment originally stemmed from, taking many walks across the African savannah with him as a child.
Susannah moved to Australia when she was ten years old and settled at Dover in the far south of Tasmania with her family.
A lover of the Tasmanian wilderness, which she experiences firsthand by undertaking many walking trails and trekking the national parks.
After raising a family and working predominately in the Education and Health sectors, Susannah resumed her love of drawing and painting in 2020 and is committed to creating artworks to the best of her ability with honesty, authenticity and vigour.
Susannah works in charcoal, oils, acrylic and water colour and is always looking at new ways to highlight and portray her work.
