'And so it begins'

Well, here we are. She had a dream, she could no longer ignore. And every time she went to the ocean, to see the sunset, she knew what she had to do.

She had to paint what she felt when she was at the beach - how the colour, the swirls, the spray made her feel, and the need to calm it all down with white seafoam.

Painted on a premium artists canvas, in pale pink, blush, pale blue, navy and fuchsia (undertones and pops of colour), with a lot of calming white. Heavily textured. Signed on the front with my initials. The sides of the canvas are painted in continuation of the front of the canvas.

Hello, my name is Susannah,
... and I love to paint abstract paintings that I don't think about, I feel, as I use brushes, knives, spatulas & scrappers to add layers of colour to canvas. I am most inspired by a blue sky, and the ocean. My daydreams are filled with colour, and painting helps me to express what I feel.

My hope is that my art transports you to a place where you 'lose yourself in a daydream.....'
