AQUA BLUE

Coastal Scenic Abstract Art and was wanting to paint with a aqua background and not sure how it was going to end up but looks like I keep going back to boats etc. It must be because I live overlooking the ocean on Currumbin Hill on the Gold Coast and the water the last few days has been calm and lovely shades of aqua and blue. I am a Currumbin, Qld Artist and started painting about ten years ago. Took lessons for about four years and then joined "Leisuretime at the Uniting Church, Elanora" After a few classes they asked me if I would teach. It is volunteer work. Have painted at demo's at the Gold Coast Show, Art Shows and events on the Gold Coast.
I work in Acrylic and mixed media and love using the pallet knife and experiment with different textures and try different ideas.

I have won second prizes at the Gold Coast Show and sold at many art shows and my paintings have been displayed at many Restaurants and at Conventions in Hotels in Qld and NSW. I have my paintings in private collections in Australia and Overseas.
