Thank you for accessing my profile. I spent my childhood illustrating at every opportunity and included a diverse range of subjects. I began painting in the past few years and discovered a passion for watercolour. While living in Hawaii for 9 years the beauty of black lava rock against clear turquoise water and lush green foliage enhanced my artistic appreciation of how tones and colour can enhance the mood of a painting. While I adore the fluidity of watercolour and the incredible range of transparency and soft glows that can be created with layers of glazes, recently I have renewed my interest in creating with acrylics on canvas after a few successes in painting acrylic wall murals. My subjects are varied but Australian landscapes, flora and fauna remain creative favourites.
