Exuberance Collection
Triptych Collection — Including Inner Spirit, Emanate & Alive Within
Acrylic on canvas
Overall installation shown includes:
• Inner Spirit — 40cm x 40cm
• Emanate — 102cm x 102cm
• Alive Within — 92cm x 61cm
• 3.5cm gallery depth
The Exuberance Collection celebrates positivity, joy and the freedom to be unapologetically present. Through layered acrylic colour, movement and irregular form, these works invite the viewer into the now — no before, no later, just this moment.
Created through layered acrylic processes, each composition evolves intuitively — responding to gesture, rhythm and interaction between colour and form. Transparent layers overlap with bold opaque passages, allowing movement and depth to emerge naturally across the surface.
Together, Inner Spirit, Emanate and Alive Within create a dynamic visual dialogue. While each work stands independently, the collection becomes more immersive when experienced as a group, where colour relationships and compositional movement extend across the installation.
✨ From The Collection
Inner Spirit
I may be smaller than the others in my collection, but don’t let that fool you. I was created with vivid layers of yellow, magenta, cobalt, orange and indigo — brilliant colours representing the spirit within. I remind you that your brightest light doesn’t come from trying to be like everyone else — it comes from embracing your own inner spirit.
Emanate
I was created to bring positivity, boldness and happiness into a space through colour, movement and energy. My irregular shapes are designed to captivate and awaken your playful side — encouraging creativity and inviting you to simply enjoy the present moment for a while.
Alive Within
I’m Alive Within. I was created by my maker to let creativity ooze freely across the canvas. My shape is irregular, and so are my patterns — blending, overlapping and moving without restriction to keep your mind here with me in the present moment. No before. No later. Just now.
Designed as a contemporary statement installation, the Exuberance Collection brings energy, optimism and bold presence into a space while maintaining refinement and compositional cohesion.

⸻ ABOUT THE ARTIST
Suzanne Carter is a contemporary Australian mixed media artist based in Tomakin on the NSW South Coast.
Her practice explores connection as an evolving experience, expressed through multiple visual languages that move between sculptural textile form and expressive abstraction. Working intuitively, she builds each piece through a process of response and refinement, allowing compositions to develop their own rhythm, movement and energy.
Suzanne’s current collections — including Botanicals, Woven, Deep Reflections, Exuberance and Koi — explore different expressions of connection, from nature-inspired forms to quiet introspection and bold, energetic movement. Her work often sits between painting and object, particularly within her textile-based pieces, where hand-constructed elements introduce depth, structure and tactile presence.
An award-winning artist, Suzanne has received Champion and First Prize at the Moruya Agricultural Show, multiple awards including the Royal Canberra Show 2026. Most recently, she was recognised with the Service Art Award at the South Coast Private Hospital Wollongong Art Exhibition, acknowledging artistic achievement and creativity of service personnel.
Her work is increasingly collected for its contemporary presence, emotional depth and ability to transform a space.
