Koi Dreaming
No. 2 — Koi Collection
Acrylic on canvas
45.5cm high x 45.5cm wide x 3.5cm depth
I was created as a reminder that not everything in life needs to be forced.
My flowing forms were inspired by koi fish moving through a dream-like landscape — gliding, turning and weaving their way forward with quiet confidence. They do not fight the current. They work with it.
You may notice that I loosely resemble a dreamcatcher. Like one, I was created to gently clear the path ahead, helping you release what no longer serves you and make space for new possibilities.
My sweeping forms intertwine and circle around one another, creating a sense of movement, rhythm and flow. I invite you to pause, breathe and trust that not every answer needs to be known before taking the next step.
Life rarely unfolds in a straight line. There are moments when the path ahead feels uncertain, hidden or out of reach. I remind you that clarity often arrives when you stop resisting and allow yourself to move with life's natural currents.
Layers of warm sienna, soft creams, charcoal accents and luminous highlights create depth and energy across my surface. My movement shifts as light changes throughout the day, revealing new pathways and connections within the composition.
My maker works intuitively, allowing colour, gesture and movement to guide the creative process. Because of this, no mark could ever be recreated in exactly the same way again.
Room settings are a guide, please check measurements to be sure of the size.

⸻ Collection
Part of the Koi Collection, a series exploring flow, transformation and trust. Inspired by the symbolism of koi fish and the natural rhythms of water, each work reflects a different aspect of the journey forward. Through movement, layered forms and organic pathways, the collection reminds us that life often unfolds most beautifully when we stop fighting the current and trust where it is taking us.
