Holidaying in the french province of Brittany in early Summer, I was breathless with the beauty of the area. Each tiny city and the surrounding countryside was awash in sunshine and roses of every variety, This gorgeous blossom was growing casually by the side of a 9th century building in Malestroit which I passed each morning on my way to buy my morning croissant and the day’s baguettes before exploring the area further and further. The rich buttery tones of this bloom echo the feel of sunshine and verdant surrounds that I fell in love with and brightens every day with her beauty.
