The Universe inside is a layered oil painting rich in colour and depth. The artwork is like an internal landscape, a galaxy , the depths of the sacred internal space. The work is inspired by deep meditation as well as the ocean and surrounding landscape on the Bellarine Peninsula. Water is a big theme in my work as it represents the subconscious mind and the emotions. The painting has a deep space like quality that draws you in to a peaceful space to rest.
