Artist Bio
My love for art began by the age of 5 when i could pick up a pencil, my love for drawing took me to studying fine art at carine tafe for one year then attended Preston tafe to study my advanced certificate in fine art.
I specialized in drawing, sculpture, life drawing which was my favorite class.
Fast forward to her and now, following my passion of painting in oils attending monsalvat oil painting classes with David More learning from David was so inspirational which assisted in learning techniques to broaden my skills.
I have attended portrait classes with Geame Drendel, who was my high school art teacher back in the 80’s.
I have come a long way with my painting, utelising skills learnt to create my style full of bright colours to bring happiness and wonder to every piece.
I look forward to my solo exhibition next year called “BOMBSHELL”, this focus on the entertainment industry mainly burlesque which I have sorely missed during covid19 restrictions in Melbourne.
The humor, characters, colour and spontaneity captured in the series of paintings to exude my inner entertainer.
