My visual arts background began in graphic design but after working on computers for so long I decided to get back to hands on creating with different materials and art making processes. My latest work has been articulated through the medium of paper using the time intensive method of paper cutting by hand but also using the latest laser cutting techniques. I also enjoy experimenting with abstract painting playing with spontaneous movement of colour and organic motifs. Like most artists I enjoy playing with new materials and enjoy the solitary process of making unexpected mistakes and seeing surprising outcomes from colour mixing combinations.
