I have always loved tulips with their beautiful colours and a sense of joy and happiness they bring. They are not too elegant, too romantic, too big, too small, or too bright; the tulip is always just right. I chose magenta as the main colour for its warmth, with a touch of silver metallic throughout the artwork, so that as the light moved, the artwork moves with you.
