Childhood memories of clambering up Mt Arapiles and feeling the cool breeze as we peered out at the vast flatness of the Wimmera. Salt lakes shimmering in the distance and Mitre Rock beckoning us for another day.
I used oil paints lightly, to try and capture some of that late afternoon light quality.
