My art practice began in 2018 as a deliberate means to fill a hole left by a series of catastrophic losses, including the loss of a child. It has evolved to become a new part of my identity. I have always been fascinated by portraiture and enjoy exploring different ways to represent myself, my daughter and my friends. I am currently experimenting with different surfaces and painting styles. I have completed many commissions, particularly of pets, and have been a finalist in several portrait prizes.
