A Field of Red Poppies and Blue Cornflowers

My mother loved red poppies and blue cornflowers, she had seen another smaller painting which I had donated to The Hong Kong Hospice. A few years later my mother passed away with Breast Cancer. This Art work is dedicated to her beautiful soul and I know that she was right behind me, looking over my shoulder whilst creating this Master Piece. It is a happy painting to uplift your soul, to bring in joy,peace and contentment. Nature captivates your heart, mind & soul for love ! I have applied a technique called - ' Pointillism ' and used a dark outline around the Poppies and Flowers in the work that illustrates the method of Van Gough with his famous painting called - ' The Irises'.
I am sure that this Artist would have been proud of my achievement, as it has taken over 30 years to master.
He was a Famous Dutch Impressionist , which I admire greatly for his technical application as a skill and as a crafts person.
