Mystic Desert

My dear mother - ' Sonja' visited the Outback to Ayers Rock called 'Uluru". She took some landscape photo's for some idea's for a painting. I was inspired and moved by the deep red sands of the desert and the vivid green bushes with pretty yellow flowers that looked incredible beauty of nature. The way the sand particles are picked up by the wind to create a living canvas is art in itself! The power of the colour red and ochre orange is all about vitality, courage,creativity,raw energy as in colour therapy it activates the Root Chakra that is found in the base of the body ( One's sexuality) for Survival instinct. Red is associated with the blood force, if you are feeling tired and lethargic this painting may suggest that you are low in iron, something is out of balance with the blood, or holding onto anger ! Red is blood circulation relating to the heart, so maybe get a health check up ; i.e. Blood pressure etc would be high or too low? Tiny thousand points of dots to create a multi layered colour flow for a 3D & 4D effect. To bring more light onto the canvas. A striking painting that will leave you mesmerised ! This Art work took 2 Month's to complete. It comes with a white wooden frame, edged inside with gold to highlight the purity and warmth of the desert, this painting would suit any interior zone especially for a white wall feature.
