This painting is developed using mixed media on acid free 300 gsm A3 acrylic painting paper. This art is influenced by the Kolam which is an ancient art that is drawn by using rice flour or chalk in Sri Lanka, India and a few other Asian countries. A Kolam is a geometrical line drawing composed of curved loops, drawn around a grid pattern of dots.This painting will look great in your living room, bedroom, hallways or at your office.

For me the craze for painting started many years ago. Nature is my biggest inspiration and my influence is mainly drawn from nature and its shapes and patterns. I love colors, textures and all different forms of nature.
I primarily use Acrylic on canvas and use brushes and palette knives to create paintings. I also love to explore with other medium as well. I adore bright colors. The texture is also important to me and some of my artwork is composed of rich bright layers of colors and texture.
I never get tired or bored of painting. I was surprised with the level of transformation abstract paintings can give to a room and make the room bright and add a touch of liveliness to the décor. With multi colors, shades and textures the transformation was unbelievable. This made me passionate about art.
