Kondalilla Fig #1

Inspired by many walks through the dense Kondalilla Falls National Park in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The strangler figs are dotted all through this forest, and create their own beautiful forms.

Painted on stretched canvas in impasto-rich acrylic paints. Sealed. The sides are painted, so it is ready to hang, or would look lovely in an oak frame.

Art has been written into my soul from a young age.

I paint to understand places and feelings better. At this stage, I follow no definable style, I merely paint from my experiences in the moment. Maybe expressionism is my word.
