Artwork Description

Through the refraction of light on a rainy day, a rainbow is seen to clear the mind and amazing the eyes. We are thankful for the simplicity of the rainbow, the curvature, the colours. This artwork explores is inspired by my favourite colours and tones that are highlighted by the gold ink creating the gold at the end of the rainbow.

Tahlia grew up in Goulburn in NSW. She now lives on Wiradjuri country in Bathurst NSW.

She graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Art and Design and completed her Master of Teaching specializing in ceramics and papermaking in 2021. Tahlia is now working at a local High School as a Visual Arts and Photography teacher.
