Tahlia is an artist based in Wagga Wagga NSW and has successfully exhibited throughout the Riverina for the past 10 years.
Tahlia has also exhibited as an Artist at Comicon Sydney in Artist’s Alley.
Tahlia is the managing director of Rabbit Books Arthouse Gallery and Art School in Wagga Wagga NSW.
Tahlia prides herself on creating works that tell a story and transport the viewer to a different world. The artist enjoys creating works that are not only visually pleasing, but also act as a talking point in ones home.
Themes explored by the artist include the women’s place in the natural world, myths and folktales and popular culture. Drawing on poetry and literature, art history and the Australian landscape, the artists recent 'Australian Dreamscapes Series', focuses on her relationship with the Australian environment near her home.
The artist lives by the motto that art should not be selected because it matches your lounge room furniture...but rather because you have an affinity with it and it speaks to you!
When Tahlia is not painting, she passionately teaches visual art to students of all ages, encouraging them to embrace creativity.
