Inspired by my love of nature and tropical palettes, this work was commenced two years ago in Autumn of 2020. I decided to finish the work to finally see where it ended up, artistically and physically Emily Wurramurra's song 'Carry me home' was playing while I finished the work today and the reference to a 'calling to home' stuck in my thoughts. This helped bring calm.
