Artwork Description

This piece represents the sense of community and togetherness women share as they support one another in times of need. The shapes in the centre are the indigenous symbol for woman. The positioning of these symbols creates an even more empowering message by uniting them as one stronger community. The purple colours around the outside of the circle represent those who have suffered domestic violence, it also represents international women’s day. The pink represents breast cancer and is also commonly used to represent femininity and love. The piece as a whole is based around women supporting women.
