When hot hair balloons rise out of the early morning mist in near perfect silence, except for the gentle purr of the burners to keep them afloat, it seems to allow a connection with the natural world that is apart from most other experiences. Whether viewing from the ground or from the balloons the mixture of the simple chemistry of hot air rising and the imperceptible drifting are something to contemplate.
Finished with satin varnish.
