Stillness is an abstract composition created using acrylic paint, acrylic modelling paste, and layered paper texture, exploring the contrast between smooth colour fields and richly textured, tactile surfaces. Soft turquoise tones evoke a sense of calm, while raised textures introduce depth and physical presence. Finished with delicate gold dry brushing, light gently settles across the relief, highlighting the quiet dialogue between stillness and movement, softness and structure. The work explores calm within imperfection, where texture, tone and space settle into a moment of peaceful pause — a visual breath suspended in time.
