I love painting owls because they have such a quiet magic about them. Their wide, soulful eyes feel like they hold ancient wisdom, and capturing that expression on canvas always inspires me. Their feathers give me the freedom to experiment with detail, colour, and texture, making every painting unique. Each owl I paint seems to develop its own personality—watchful, mysterious, and full of character—which is what keeps me coming back to them again and again.
