*A Gentle Earth* is a quiet celebration of the beauty found in the landscape when we slow down enough to notice it.

Inspired by the winding paths of rivers and the delicate patterns etched across the earth, this painting explores the gentle rhythm of nature. Soft blush pinks, warm earthy tones, touches of lime and pale blue move across the surface, creating a landscape that feels both familiar and dreamlike.

The winding forms invite the eye to wander, suggesting rivers flowing through open country, roads disappearing into the distance, and the countless delicate traces left by time. There is movement here, but also stillness, a sense of being held by something much larger than ourselves.

*A Gentle Earth* is a reminder that beauty does not always need to be dramatic. Sometimes it is found in the quiet curves, subtle colours and imperfect patterns that make our world feel like home.

Painting emerged unexpectedly during creative time spent with her children, and quickly became the most honest and fulfilling expression of her creativity.
