Artwork Description

Blooming Spring Mosaic is a vibrant, cohesive original painting that belongs to the Blooming Spring series. A mosaic of small, rectangular brushstrokes and delicate washes builds a shimmering surface in a fresh spring palette—soft pinks, blush, sage and leaf greens, with touches of lilac and pale gold—creating a rhythmic field of colour that reads both close-up as tactile mark-making and from a distance as a luminous floral abstraction.
The work was made through patient, layered brushwork—numerous small marks and subtle glazes accumulating over many hours to create depth, texture and gentle movement. The mosaic structure gives the piece a calm, ordered energy while the varied palette keeps the surface lively and uplifting.
Perfect as a statement piece in residential interiors, Blooming Spring Mosaic suits living rooms, bedrooms or dining areas and also complements boutique commercial settings such as reception spaces and wellness centres. It can be displayed alone to punctuate a single wall or placed alongside other works from the Blooming Spring series to form a harmonious ensemble.
Measuring 91 × 122 × 4 cm, the painting can be hung horizontally or vertically to suit your layout. It will arrive signed on the front with my initials, and on the back you’ll find my full name, the title of the painting and the year of creation. The edges are painted light grey, allowing the piece to be hung unframed, though framing remains optional.

Artist Bio

Tania’s art is about colour, pattern, and texture. Growing up next to the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the heart of Russian art, Tania’s childhood was filled with inspiration. This continued into her early adulthood while living and studying in London, where she enjoyed the plethora of galleries and museums both there and across Europe. During her studies in Architectural Design, Tania built a strong understanding of form and structure, and developed a deep connection with painting. Working as an interior designer had a huge impact on how she viewed art and its role in transforming interior spaces.

“Paintings resonate with people for different reasons: some might be looking for an emotional connection, some to fit a certain space and colour scheme. Artwork can transform spaces more than anything else. It can tie colours that you love together, and fill the space with cosiness and warmth. This is what makes it home.”

Now living on the Gold Coast and enjoying the vibrancy of Australia’s landscapes and culture, Tania’s latest works incorporate mixed media into her oil and acrylic pieces. She finds this further imbues her love of texture and layering into the rich hues of colour that remain at the core of her art.

“Painting for me is a form of meditation. My flower garden is a great inspiration. All sorts of colours mix together and create a wonderful harmony.”
