Artwork Description

Blush Veil is an original textured acrylic painting that captures the soft, emotive beauty of colour unfolding across the canvas. Layered brushwork and subtle textural details create a sense of depth and movement, while expressive marks drift and dissolve, evoking petals, mist and the gentle rhythm of nature in bloom.

The palette is warm and romantic, moving through blush pinks, soft mauves, dusty roses, muted lilacs and creamy neutrals. Hints of earthy undertones anchor the composition, balancing the airy softness with a quiet sense of structure. The surface texture adds a tactile quality that catches the light beautifully, inviting closer viewing.

This artwork brings warmth, elegance and a calming presence to interiors. It works particularly well as a statement piece in living rooms, bedrooms, dining spaces or refined, contemporary settings seeking a soft yet expressive focal point.

The painting measures 122 × 91 × 4 cm and can be displayed either vertically or horizontally to suit your space. It is signed on the back with my full name, the title and the year of creation. The sides are painted a soft neutral tone, allowing the artwork to be hung unframed, though it also pairs beautifully with contemporary framing if desired.

Artist Bio

Tania’s art is about colour, pattern, and texture. Growing up next to the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the heart of Russian art, Tania’s childhood was filled with inspiration. This continued into her early adulthood while living and studying in London, where she enjoyed the plethora of galleries and museums both there and across Europe. During her studies in Architectural Design, Tania built a strong understanding of form and structure, and developed a deep connection with painting. Working as an interior designer had a huge impact on how she viewed art and its role in transforming interior spaces.

“Paintings resonate with people for different reasons: some might be looking for an emotional connection, some to fit a certain space and colour scheme. Artwork can transform spaces more than anything else. It can tie colours that you love together, and fill the space with cosiness and warmth. This is what makes it home.”

Now living on the Gold Coast and enjoying the vibrancy of Australia’s landscapes and culture, Tania’s latest works incorporate mixed media into her oil and acrylic pieces. She finds this further imbues her love of texture and layering into the rich hues of colour that remain at the core of her art.

“Painting for me is a form of meditation. My flower garden is a great inspiration. All sorts of colours mix together and create a wonderful harmony.”
