Artwork Description

Bring a sense of quiet rhythm and understated elegance to your interior with Cloud Whisper, an original acrylic painting inspired by drifting clouds, soft rain and the gentle patterns found in nature. Vertical rows of carefully layered hand-painted marks create a woven, textural surface that feels both structured and organic, inviting the eye to wander through subtle shifts of tone and light.
Rendered in a calming palette of soft blue, mist grey, warm stone, ivory and muted taupe, the painting evokes the atmosphere of a tranquil sky and the quiet beauty of changing weather. The repeated mark-making introduces depth and movement while maintaining a refined, minimalist aesthetic.
Created with acrylic on canvas, the artwork features visible texture from layered paint application and repeated brushwork, offering interest both from a distance and upon closer inspection.
This artwork is part of a coordinated collection of four related paintings. It can be enjoyed as a standalone statement piece or paired with other works from the series to create a larger installation. Different combinations are available in separate listings.
Ideal for contemporary homes, coastal interiors, bedrooms, living rooms, offices, wellness spaces and boutique commercial settings, Cloud Whisper brings a calming and sophisticated presence to a space.
This is a listing for one original acrylic painting on canvas, measuring 91 × 122 × 4 cm.
The artwork can be displayed either vertically or horizontally, allowing it to adapt beautifully to different spaces and interior compositions.
The painting is signed on the back with my full name, the artwork title and the year of creation. The edges are painted light neutral grey, allowing it to be displayed framed or unframed.

Artist Bio

Tania’s art is about colour, pattern, and texture. Growing up next to the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the heart of Russian art, Tania’s childhood was filled with inspiration. This continued into her early adulthood while living and studying in London, where she enjoyed the plethora of galleries and museums both there and across Europe. During her studies in Architectural Design, Tania built a strong understanding of form and structure, and developed a deep connection with painting. Working as an interior designer had a huge impact on how she viewed art and its role in transforming interior spaces.

“Paintings resonate with people for different reasons: some might be looking for an emotional connection, some to fit a certain space and colour scheme. Artwork can transform spaces more than anything else. It can tie colours that you love together, and fill the space with cosiness and warmth. This is what makes it home.”

Now living on the Gold Coast and enjoying the vibrancy of Australia’s landscapes and culture, Tania’s latest works incorporate mixed media into her oil and acrylic pieces. She finds this further imbues her love of texture and layering into the rich hues of colour that remain at the core of her art.

“Painting for me is a form of meditation. My flower garden is a great inspiration. All sorts of colours mix together and create a wonderful harmony.”
