Artwork Description

Bring the rhythm and tranquillity of the ocean into your interior with Ocean's Flow, an original acrylic painting inspired by rolling waves, shifting tides and the quiet repetition of nature's patterns. Layered horizontal bands of hand-painted marks create a flowing composition that captures the steady pulse and movement of the sea.
A vibrant palette of ocean blue, aqua, turquoise, teal, seafoam green and crisp white creates depth and luminosity, while subtle variations in colour and brushwork evoke sunlight dancing across water. The repeated marks introduce a woven, contemporary texture that feels both structured and organic.
Ocean's Flow is part of a larger mix-and-match collection of related paintings, designed to work beautifully together in a variety of combinations. It can be enjoyed as a striking standalone artwork or paired with other pieces from the series to create a cohesive installation. Different combinations are available in separate listings.
Created with acrylic on canvas, the painting features subtle surface texture from layered brushwork, adding richness and visual interest without overpowering the composition. Its calming colour palette makes it equally suited to coastal homes and contemporary interiors.
Ideal for living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms, offices, holiday homes and boutique commercial spaces, Ocean's Flow creates a serene focal point while introducing colour, rhythm and balance into a room.
This is a listing for one original acrylic painting on canvas, measuring 122 × 91 × 4 cm.
The artwork can be displayed either vertically or horizontally, allowing it to adapt beautifully to different spaces and interior compositions.
The painting is signed on the back with my full name, the artwork title and the year of creation. The edges are painted a light neutral grey, allowing it to be displayed framed or unframed.

Artist Bio

Tania’s art is about colour, pattern, and texture. Growing up next to the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the heart of Russian art, Tania’s childhood was filled with inspiration. This continued into her early adulthood while living and studying in London, where she enjoyed the plethora of galleries and museums both there and across Europe. During her studies in Architectural Design, Tania built a strong understanding of form and structure, and developed a deep connection with painting. Working as an interior designer had a huge impact on how she viewed art and its role in transforming interior spaces.

“Paintings resonate with people for different reasons: some might be looking for an emotional connection, some to fit a certain space and colour scheme. Artwork can transform spaces more than anything else. It can tie colours that you love together, and fill the space with cosiness and warmth. This is what makes it home.”

Now living on the Gold Coast and enjoying the vibrancy of Australia’s landscapes and culture, Tania’s latest works incorporate mixed media into her oil and acrylic pieces. She finds this further imbues her love of texture and layering into the rich hues of colour that remain at the core of her art.

“Painting for me is a form of meditation. My flower garden is a great inspiration. All sorts of colours mix together and create a wonderful harmony.”
