Artwork Description

Bring quiet sophistication and layered texture into your interior with Soft Echo, an atmospheric abstract diptych created through many delicate layers of acrylic and texture paste. The softly built surfaces evoke weathered stone, shifting mist and faded architectural impressions, creating a calm and contemplative presence.
Rendered in a refined palette of soft whites, warm greys, muted taupes and charcoal accents, the paintings reveal subtle movement and depth through gestural marks, scraped textures and translucent layered passages. The compositions feel organic and intuitive, balancing softness with structure while allowing the tactile surface to become part of the visual experience.
The layered texture catches light beautifully throughout the day, adding dimension and understated richness without overpowering the surrounding space. Together, the two panels create a serene, cohesive statement suited to contemporary and minimalist interiors.
This abstract diptych offers a grounded and elegant atmosphere—ideal for modern living rooms, bedrooms, dining spaces and entryways, as well as boutique hotels, wellness spaces, reception areas and sophisticated commercial interiors.
This is a listing for a diptych consisting of two original acrylic paintings on canvas, each measuring 91 × 122 × 4 cm.
The artworks can be displayed either vertically or horizontally, allowing them to adapt beautifully to different spaces and interior compositions. Hung side by side, they create a striking large-scale feature, though they can also be displayed separately across a space for a cohesive interior aesthetic.
The set is signed on the back with my full name, the artwork title and the year of creation. The edges are painted a soft neutral grey so the paintings can be displayed unframed for a clean, contemporary finish.

Artist Bio

Tania’s art is about colour, pattern, and texture. Growing up next to the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the heart of Russian art, Tania’s childhood was filled with inspiration. This continued into her early adulthood while living and studying in London, where she enjoyed the plethora of galleries and museums both there and across Europe. During her studies in Architectural Design, Tania built a strong understanding of form and structure, and developed a deep connection with painting. Working as an interior designer had a huge impact on how she viewed art and its role in transforming interior spaces.

“Paintings resonate with people for different reasons: some might be looking for an emotional connection, some to fit a certain space and colour scheme. Artwork can transform spaces more than anything else. It can tie colours that you love together, and fill the space with cosiness and warmth. This is what makes it home.”

Now living on the Gold Coast and enjoying the vibrancy of Australia’s landscapes and culture, Tania’s latest works incorporate mixed media into her oil and acrylic pieces. She finds this further imbues her love of texture and layering into the rich hues of colour that remain at the core of her art.

“Painting for me is a form of meditation. My flower garden is a great inspiration. All sorts of colours mix together and create a wonderful harmony.”
