Artwork Description

Bring warmth, softness and luminous texture into your interior with Soft Glow, an original oil painting composed of hundreds of individually placed mosaic-like brush marks. The layered surface creates a gentle sense of movement and radiance, with clustered forms that resemble softly glowing petals, scattered light or drifting botanical impressions.
The palette blends warm creams, soft whites and delicate beige tones with accents of ochre, blush, muted peach and earthy browns. These subtle tonal variations create a calm, atmospheric composition that feels both uplifting and refined. The interplay between light and shadow gives the artwork depth while maintaining an airy and tranquil presence.
Created in oil, the texture is formed through layered brushstrokes and carefully built mark-making, giving the painting a tactile quality that rewards close viewing while remaining cohesive from a distance.
This nature-inspired abstraction offers a serene and elegant presence—perfect for contemporary interiors seeking warmth, softness and understated sophistication. Ideal for living rooms, bedrooms and dining areas, as well as boutique commercial interiors, wellness spaces and reception areas.
This is a listing for a single original oil painting on canvas, measuring 122 × 91 × 4 cm.
The artwork can be displayed either vertically or horizontally, allowing it to adapt beautifully to different spaces and interior compositions.
The painting is signed on the back with my full name, the artwork title and the year of creation. The edges are painted a soft neutral grey so it can be displayed unframed for a clean, contemporary finish.

Artist Bio

Tania’s art is about colour, pattern, and texture. Growing up next to the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the heart of Russian art, Tania’s childhood was filled with inspiration. This continued into her early adulthood while living and studying in London, where she enjoyed the plethora of galleries and museums both there and across Europe. During her studies in Architectural Design, Tania built a strong understanding of form and structure, and developed a deep connection with painting. Working as an interior designer had a huge impact on how she viewed art and its role in transforming interior spaces.

“Paintings resonate with people for different reasons: some might be looking for an emotional connection, some to fit a certain space and colour scheme. Artwork can transform spaces more than anything else. It can tie colours that you love together, and fill the space with cosiness and warmth. This is what makes it home.”

Now living on the Gold Coast and enjoying the vibrancy of Australia’s landscapes and culture, Tania’s latest works incorporate mixed media into her oil and acrylic pieces. She finds this further imbues her love of texture and layering into the rich hues of colour that remain at the core of her art.

“Painting for me is a form of meditation. My flower garden is a great inspiration. All sorts of colours mix together and create a wonderful harmony.”
