There are many stories about Wolfe Creek, but it’s rugged beauty certainly can’t be denied.
As the morning sun rises and lights up the top of the crater’s rim the spinifex takes on a magical glow. The sunlight on the rich red rocks provides a stunning contrast against the white bark of the ghost gums, the brilliant green of the new leaves, and the stunning yellow flowers of the popcorn bush.

Artist Bio
Thanks for visiting my profile page.
Art has always been a passion of mine, although I’ve only recently started exhibiting and selling my work. I was extremely encouraged to focus more on my art after winning both Best Overall Artwork and People’s Choice award in only my second ever group exhibition in 2019. I’m honored to say my work now hangs in both public and private collections.
I’m constantly inspired by nature and the Australian landscape. I’m truly grateful to live in a country that has such a diverse and varied landscape. From the giant Karri trees near my hometown of Northcliffe through to deserts and gorges, the extremes of colour and texture I find myself surrounded by provide boundless inspiration.
Based in Perth Western Australia, I love nothing more than to jump in the car with my husband, hitch up the caravan or just grab our swags, and head out and explore our beautiful country. Through my art I get to re-visit and share these amazing experiences.
I usually paint landscapes in a representational style using oil paint. I build up the painting with layers, enhancing details until the final painting emerges that captures not only the beauty of the place, but also the emotions that moved me to paint it.
