Fairy floss

I am wanting to try a different style in Acrylics. I usually paint in oils and they take a very long time to dry. So, I thought I would do my oil paintings at my studio and my acrylics at home as they can be cleaned up quickly and put away.I love the softness of these colours and am planning on doing a whole series on soft pastels.

Tania Weekes is a Newcastle artist. Originally from Sydney, she has had a passion for art all her life and has been a practicing artist for over 20 years.
She studied the Diploma in Fine arts at Seaforth Tafe in Sydney and Diploma in Graphic Design online through CATCA (Billy Blue Design School)
Tania has exhibited throughout NSW and teaches art in Newcastle. She also paints murals locally for private homes and businesses.
Her main influences are abstract expressionism and symbolism. Her work is God inspired, sometimes prophetic and usually, totally unplanned.
Each painting revealing glimpses of a story that lures the viewer to look deeper into their own story.
Her aim is to uncover places in the psyche that connect with her work on a spiritual level.
Her love of colour shows in the vibrancy of her canvases. Her preferred medium is oils.
