I’m a mosaic & resin artist from a semi-rural part of Melbourne. After a life changing stroke in 1997 I took up drawing and since 2004 have been creating glass mosaic developing my own unique style using gifts of observation, dreams and visions. My mosaics utilities an array of glass & resin using self-taught techniques of application, colour and light enhancement.
I remember as a child being fascinated by sea glass that I found on my beach walk. It’s clarity and 3D effect have always resonated with me. The light giving properties, the glitter, beauty and elegance of glass gives me a sense of peace and joy when constructing my art. My mosaics are also inspired by my faith and speak of the heavens and the awe-inspiring beauty of our creation.
