Artwork Description

“Celebrate Love” was inspired by a generous bouquet I received — an explosion of colour and warmth that filled the room with joy. The arrangement’s dramatic mix of reds, purples, and deep pinks spoke of affection and celebration, and I wanted the painting to reflect that same emotion.
Painted in a loose, contemporary style, the work captures the spontaneity of fresh blooms with gestural brushstrokes and rich layers of colour. Each flower seems to lean and reach differently, creating a rhythm that feels alive. The glass vase anchors the movement, offering contrast and clarity amid the chaos of petals and stems.
Vibrant and joyful, this artwork brings a bold focal point to a room, adding warmth and life to any interior that embraces colour and expressive energy.
Ready to hang.

Artist Bio

Tanya is a Brisbane-based artist chasing colour, chaos and joy across canvas. Her first love is acrylic, but she happily works in watercolour, gelli printing and mixed media—whatever feeds her imagination. Florals bloom large in her work, a nod to her gardening loving family, but you’ll also find birds, bold seascapes and landscapes, reflecting a deep connection to the natural world and a lifelong love of art.

Driven by the thrill of capturing fleeting moments, Tanya lets intuition lead the way—allowing the magic to happen when the ideas, treatments and colours collide. With a background in design and formal training as part of her teaching degree, she brings both intuition and technical skill to her practice. Tanya is a regular at Brisbane’s art workshops, a proud member of weekly painting groups, and she takes the opportunity to volunteer with art activities in her local community. Her work radiates the joy she finds in every brushstroke.
