Artwork Description

A rich, sculptural botanical composition layered with depth and movement.
Deep earthy tones and geometric forms create a grounded, contemporary piece suited to modern interiors.

This artwork explores the balance between structure and organic flow, with layered forms creating subtle shifts in light, shadow and texture. Its warm, neutral palette makes it an easy yet elevated addition to living spaces, bedrooms or curated gallery walls.

Artist Bio

Tara Cunniffe, founder of TMC Studios is a Sydney-based contemporary artist whose oil paintings explore the tension between botanical form and geometric structure. Known for a signature fusion of florals and geometry, her work builds layered compositions where organic shapes unfold against grids, arcs, and circles - creating pieces that feel both expressive and considered.

Working in oils on canvas, Tara's practice is informed by over 18 years in the fashion industry, where colour logic, visual systems, and design precision became second nature. That same rigour carries into her art - each piece resolved with intention, from composition through to palette.

Her work is designed to bring depth, harmony, and quiet energy into a space. Suited to residential interiors, commercial spaces, and collectors seeking contemporary Australian art with a distinctive visual identity.
