Artwork Description

Inspired by the pictures i made on my second trip to Antarctica.
Witnessing huge icebers with deep grooves formed over time create a crystalline masterpiece carved by nature's meticulous hand. Densely-packed ice absorbs colours at the red and yellow end of the visible spectrum, reflecting blue hues so vibrant it gives off an almost ethereal glow. Each colour and subtle detail is a story of rebirth, resilience, and the fragile cycles that hold our planet together.

Artist Bio

My path as an artist can be traced back to my childhood and the influence of my father, who is an artist himself and a very talented sign maker. I enjoyed making art in an early age and more than anything enjoyed painting portraits. I also obtained my artistic training with Mr Khosronejad who is a master of painting portraits, for several years as well as completed Advance Diploma of Fine Arts and Diploma of Special Effects Make up in Sydney college.

Tara is an Australian artist who works primarily in oil paint. Her work reflects memories of places that she has been. Exploring personal and cultural identity and one’s sense of belonging within a place, She draws inspiration from her expeditions to the seven continents and currently more interested in our natural world and how its changing before our eyes. So she is challenging herself to make art with a purpose. She may patiently revisit the same painting again and again, adding and removing layers over time.
