The Corn Moon is the full moon that rises typically in September, just before the Harvest Moon. It takes its name from Native American traditions, marking the time when corn is ripe and ready to gather. This moon symbolises abundance, nourishment, and the rewards of hard work.

Spiritually, the Corn Moon invites gratitude, grounding, and reflection on the cycles of effort and fruition.

In this painting, the Corn Moon glows with golden warmth—an emblem of sustenance, balance, and the deep connection between the earth’s gifts and the rhythms of life.

I am inspired by the beauty of the world around me. I live by the ocean and find wonder in her ever-changing moods and colours. I find inspiration in the animals that cross my path and the subtle messages they bring.
