Artwork Description

The inspiration for the Illumination series came from my personal search for the divine during a particularly challenging time. We each have our own personal spiritual practice – a place we go where we are able to find, rediscover and recreate ourselves. My hope for this series is that it illuminates your journey and inspires you to connect with the light you hold within yourself.

The use of gold is due to its association with wisdom, spirituality, enlightenment and an understanding of our souls and ourselves.

I am inspired by the beauty of the world around me. I live by the ocean and find wonder in her ever-changing moods and colours. I find inspiration in the animals that cross my path and the subtle messages they bring.

I paint from my heart and am guided by my spiritual connection to Mother Earth. Every colour is a mood and every dot is a thought or emotion.
