Artwork Description

Rose is  known as "the queen of flowers". Roses have held significant meaning for years. These flowers symbolise love, power, royalty, beauty, sensuality, and mysticism.  Red roses are traditionally seen as a symbol of passion.
If you want the power, you need the passion. My passion is the beauty of nature and that gives me power to create. Passion isn’t passive. Being passionate about something means you’re going to do something about it. Passion results in action.
I created the composition of this painting in such a way that it does not have a clear top or bottom, it can be transformed and rotated in different directions and hung like a diamond shape. Sides are painted. Not require framing.

Artist Bio

Tatiana Odegova, I am a full time artist who lives and works in Melbourne Australia.
I began my artistic journey at the early age of 11 by enrolling to an Art School and 4 years later continued my Art education in the State Art College in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
In 1991 I graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Teaching Fine Arts.
In 2010 I moved to Australia where I continue to explore my artistic abilities with growing reputation as an artist and teacher. I worked in a variety of mediums such as acrylic, oil, watercolour or drawing, however oil was always a preferable choice. Through the more than 40 years of my artistic journey I developed my own technique where images arise from an abstract background combining roughness and serenity. I can describe my art style as an abstract realism as I’m combining abstraction with figuration and stylization. Regarding themes and my colour palette, there is no limitation.
I am bewitched and constantly been amused by the beauty and diversity of the natural world and the relationship between nature and human being. Through my art, I seek to capture the delicate forms and vibrant colors of the nature beautiful creations, and to share their beauty with others. My paintings are not just representations of these beautiful creations, but also expressions of the emotions and experiences that they evoke in me. Emotions and feelings are the main motives that drive my creativity and I try to convey them on my paintings. My artworks might look sensitive, lyrical or impressionistic and dynamic. I believe that whatever subject the artists create, it is always a self-portrait of their spirit.
I never stop learning and exploring new art techniques and implementing them in my projects. I hope that my creations will inspire others to appreciate the beauty of life and to connect with the natural world around us.
