Taya Biggs is a proud Barkindji Woman and artist. From Menindee, Located on the ancient Barka ( Darling River) in Nsw.

Taya practice's art as a way to stay connected to Country. The rhythms and stories of River Country find their way into her work - Drawing, Painting and print-making.

Taya has always been making art, Telling stories passed down to her through family and community. Today she quietly passes these stories of the Barka (River) and her Country on to the Barkindji artists and wider community.
