Artwork Description

Hello thereeeee 😊 Thank you for looking in on “Wandering Meadow.”

This beautiful piece is 160cm x 100cm and features shades of olive green, white and touches of bronze, gold, yellow and pink acrylics. This stunner is the latest addition to my range “Floral and Coral.” I will sign the bottom left corner before despatch.

I also offer my own personal high quality frames. I can provide black, white, midnight blue or natural Tasmanian oak floating frames depending on your preference. Whilst my paintings look stunning unframed… a frame can add another level of interest and further tie the painting into your décor. I offer my frames at a discounted rate to what is displayed. If you would like to add a floating frame please contact me BEFORE purchasing so I can add it to your order.

Please note all paintings are photographed in natural lighting. I do my best to make sure the pictures best represent the painting in real life.

These paintings are created on a 40mm frame wrapped in the highest quality canvas. I use thinners, Surfactants and Synthetic Polymers to create pieces inspired by aerials, marble, granite and seascapes. The sheer number of variables in each painting makes every piece one of a kind and can never be replicated. Having said that, If this piece caught your eye but isn’t quite the right size or colour/s please reach out and we can discuss the possibility of doing a commission in this vein.

Finishing:
My paintings are varnished, have painted edges and are signed on the front and back. Also, most of my paintings arrive ready to hang with hardware installed on the back of the canvas. I recommend that the really big ones be installed by a professional installer which is cheaper than you might think ($150 - $250). If you would like more information, don’t hesitate to ask.

Serving Suggestions:
Each painting is listed with some insitu images which I try to ensure are true to size. I also add an external frame to the piece to give you an idea of how they look framed in either black or oak. However, as previously mentioned, my pieces arrive ready to hang with painted edges, so the framing is only an option. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Freight and delivery:
I package my paintings securely in twin walled, reinforced, cartons, with additional protective inserts and the painting is wrapped in felt for rub protection. Our trusted freight partners are TNT, Startrack and DHL. Often with larger pieces and local deliveries, we can arrange a direct delivery with a local driver.

Finally, all works come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Thank you for looking in!

Artist Bio

Hello there 😊 My name is Taylor Rose and I love art!

I am fortunate enough to be a full-time artist doing what I love day in and day out. I enjoy making messes and being covered head to toe in paint, and this is how most days pan out. Makes me feel like a piece of art myself! My studio is located on acreage between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It is a heavenly location with endless inspiration.

All my artistry is driven by “Earth” in its purest form – whether it’s stone, landscapes, seascapes, beachscapes, jewels, metals etc. I strive to capture or represent the stunning abstraction of nature through contrasting tones, rich colours and harmonious flowing composition.

My pieces tend to be on the larger side ranging from 120cmx100cm to 270cmx120cm and have ambitions to go larger. Scale in art is certainly a head turner, though of course it needs to be the right “scale” for the volume of space.

I always try to plan for balance and harmony before I go to canvas but have found the less I think and let the magic happen, the more harmonious they turn out. My lightly textured bases also create another layer of interest and direction.

Most artists have influences and “borrow” different things from other artists and I am no exception having come from a family of fulltime artists, and for the past 4 years I have worked along side my well known artist father “Franko”. Whilst I continue to collaborate with him on figurative and pop art, its time to shine with my own developing ranges in abstraction.

Viva la Art!
