Camp Cove Bathers

This painting captures a moment in the late afternoon at Camp Cove beach in Sydney - two friends chat as they head out of the water toward the shore. The sea is a greeny-blue teal colour and the late afternoon sun casts highlights and shadows across the figures and water surface. I was drawn to create a relaxed summer atmosphere and to capture the play on light and shadow across the figures.

Painting comes 'ready to hang', with all fixtures and fittings attached to the back, along with a certificate of authenticity.

Sydney is my dream city. Its laid-back coastal lifestyle, ocean swims, beaches up and down the coast,the shimmering blues and greens of the water, the iconic ocean pools. This is my source of inspiration.
