Orchids in a blue pot

This painting features a cluster of white orchids growing in a muted sea-blue pot. I was inspired to paint some orchids while watching a movie called The Master Gardener. I didn't think too much about composition or colour but I thought the painting evolved quite nicely as I worked on it. The composition highlights contrast between the crisp white flowers and the subdued palette.
