Give me a canvas and I no longer fear the white space. I love the freedom of fluid mediums, the energy that comes with letting loose and intuitively painting what I feel right then and there. Since becoming a mum (now of two), I no longer have time to procrastinate, and that has allowed my work to become more honest, free and explosive.

I love to create large scale pieces that invite you to come closer, look for the details, the texture, interactions between different media. The marks are made with all the tools I can find - my hands, finger tips, palette knives, brushes, cups, pippettes, whatever I can find! Dripping, splashing, tipping paint and mixed media - it's all so delicious!

I take inspiration from all around me- but most often from what I'm feeling at the time. As an experienced Science and Art teacher, I am fascinated by the chemistry of art materials and the way different paints and acrylic mediums respond to each other. You will find gorgeous details in my paintings where the fluid media merge, plays on light and dark, soft and hard edges, transparent and opaque.. Beautiful pieces that will evoke happiness in your home and bring sophistication to your space.
